Welcome to Holt Hall Apiary!
My name is Matthew Ingram and I started beekeeping several years ago while still at university. I love beekeeping and so on graduating with a degree in accounting in 2018 decided to take my hobby further and started Holt Hall Apiary.
I am writing this after a lovely hot summer that has been great for beekeepers, although a bit warm in our suits! We have around 70 hives which means we are certainly small scale at the moment but hope to reach 100 by the end of this season. My main motivation is to provide high quality and honest honey, did you know that around 10% of honey purchased from UK supermarkets has cheaper syrups and sugars added to it.
All our products have an amazing level of tractability so if you want to know where any of our products are from, right down to the wick in our candles and the jars we use then please get in touch – firstname.lastname@example.org
Track your honey!
Traceability in honey is so important that’s why we go above and beyond regulations and add a batch number to every jar, as we only produce in small batches from a maximum of 6 hives at a time we can tell you pretty much exactly which hive your honey has come from, sometimes we even have single hive batches. If you want to know which hives your honey has come from, what flowers the bees had been collecting nectar from and how that hive did this season as well as other information please go to Track Your Honey!, enter your batch number and find out all about your honey straight away!
Supporting my new business means a lot to me so thank you for visiting our website and helping Holt Hall Apiary to grow. If you can’t find what you are looking for please get in touch here and we will do everything we can to help!
